06 Oct 2008 Auditions Day results.
Our Auditions Day yesterday definitely secured an even bigger night of performances and more creative ideas and inputs from our adjudicator, Brent Olifent, to ensure next Showcase function will be nothing less than 110% absolute brilliance. There are a few more future performers to be finalised this week, but please keep in mind that Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba and Viennese Waltz are all closed. However, Salsa, Waltz, Mambo, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Lindy Hop and Paso Doble are still open with some availability if you are interested in expanding your dancing horizons and challenge your dancing.
The Thriller formation was a massive thriller and has provided another edge to performing, with our next formation themed Chicago to be performed at the next showcase as well. If you are looking at being part of the Showcase, but just want to ease slowly, then Formation is the way to go, and Simon is still looking for more performers to join the current cast of 8.

Our Festival Membership is starting this week for another fun-filled and festive season, with 2 Fancy Dress parties, a dance workshop (topic to be advised), a beach Picnic and the Xmas Dinner Dance (3-course meal with alcohol inclusive). The membership for the entire Festival is $140 for this week ONLY! Please speak to your teachers for more information, otherwise, get in and finalise the membership by end of this week for the best value since it will be $150 next week, $160 the week after.

CONGRATULATIONS to all participants for an evening that was just impeccable! As said by some of our students and seasoned performers on the night, the standards have been raised again with this Showcase, and the evening was just a great success!
Thank you to all of you who have helped to make the night as wonderful as it was, and we would like to also thank the family and guests who attended and supported our performers, as well as our functions. It is due to this that drives us in making future functions even bigger, better, more entertaining and creative, as well as more funJ Please pass on our gratitude to your guests and we would like to extend our warm invitation to join us at this Friday's social to congratulate our performers from 8.30pm to 10pm.
